Google maps say a little under 5 hrs and under 400 kms but we started at 6 a.m and got back 10 hrs later at 4pm ...!!

31 C, not a cloud in the sky, (it was 44.7C there last month so could have been worse !!) ...... the ladies of Wongan Hills had been baking and sandwiching for weeks with the spread they had laid out for lunch - after 300 riders had eaten it looked like we'd hardly touched it...!!

The 'bird ran like a dream and a matte white Triumph 3 won the best turned out bike award. All in all a great day was had by all... well, except for the guy who thought he had the gas to get from Wongan to Toodyay only to be proved wrong.. One user of the rescue truck....








 
Colin Chapman once said: "If you add horsepower you'll be quick on the straight,...but if you remove weight you'll be quicker everywhere.." ....so why in hell did I buy a Thunderbird...!!!
